A Clean Home

Janice always kept a clean and orderly house. It was not always perfect but always comfortable. It was not like some homes I have been in, you know, those that are so clean they squeak and so clean and straight that you are afraid to sit down or if you did you sat on the edge of the seat afraid that you might contaminate it.

  Needless to say since the house-keeping has fallen to me I'm glad Janice doesn't notice because she would want to know if it was a hurricane or tornado that hit her house. My computer desk has spilled over to the kitchen table with work and study materials. The kitchen table has spilled over to the dining room table. You should see me trying to straighten up when a visitor is coming over.

  Distressed as I am about it at times I am comforted by Isaiah quoting the Father, "My people will live in peaceful dwelling places,  in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest." (Isa. 32:18)
