Faith Through Our Fathers

I remember asking my Daddy about his baptism. He was baptized in his teens while attending a church that was located near the present Dale Hollow Dam in Tennessee. He explained that the church building had a sign that read "Christian Church". I later learned that this church had its origin through Barton W. Stone of what is commonly known as the Stone /Campbell movement of American church history.

Daddy also told me of his father and grandfather who likewise were N. T. Christians. This history accounts for my children and grandchildren and their commitment to Christ. A faithful mother and father will affect many lives for generations to come.

"...He commanded our fathers that they should teach them to their children, that the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they might arise and tell them to their children that they should put their confidence in God..." (Ps. 78: 5-7)
