The King

MAY 2015 - A man named Bob visited a garage sale where he found a Harley-Davidson motorcycle covered with an old tablecloth. With a little bargaining he took it home for $35.00.

He called the company to purchase replacement parts. He gave the clerk the serial number and the clerk said, "I'll have to call you back." Soon the clerk called back and asked him to look under the seat and see if there was anything written there. He did and he reported that "The King" was written there. The next day Jay Leno called to offer him $500,000 for the bike. It seems that the cycle once belonged to Elvis. The great value had to do with its owner.

Bob had something of great value and didn't know it. What is your value as a human being? Is it your job title or economic station? Real worth is about ownership! Does the King of kings own you?  Actually, He does own us because He paid a price of great suffering at the cross. Will you accept this good news?

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."
( I Tim. 1:7)
