The Basics

Ecclesiastes 4:12
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

1 Corinthians 12: 12-14
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

John 17: 20-21
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

Check this out: The devil wants us to believe that we are all alone, helpless, hopeless, and worthless. If he can get you to isolation, he believes that he can destroy you from the inside out.
God shares through these verses that we need to fight for community. We need to fight for relationships. God himself is made up of three parts with very specific roles. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit (1 Peter 1… read it as so good). The establishment of marriage is built on two becoming one through God. We must fight evil together through the power of Jesus.
Share your story, allow others to share theirs. Let’s come together and worship through the battle. If you find that your isolation is becoming overwhelming, please reach out. Let someone know here at Collegeside and we will be more than happy to unite with you.

Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

We must share our stories of the movement of God and do it through the power of Jesus. We too will overcome.

Jesus is the only way. Believe it.
