A Sweet Aroma

Oliver Wendell Holmes said, "Memories, imagination, old sentiments and associations are readily reached through the sense of smell than any other channel." This is so true!
Have you ever while driving down the road and either hit or drove by a dead skunk? The fragrance seems to last forever.  Sometimes people will get a whiff of some shampoo, perfume or shaving lotion and it will bring back memories of people they loved.
All through the book of Leviticus the Jews were instructed to offer up sacrifices as a "soothing aroma to the Lord". I suppose that the opposite would be true. If we were not following the Lord's will an unpleasant or unpleasing aroma would be going up to the Lord.
Paul wrote, "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place." (II Cor. 2:14) .
Is your life a pleasant fragrance that is attracting people to Christ. If not, what will you do about it?
