Friendship In Marriage
As we continue our focus on Friendship in Marriage, Heather and I want to specifically aim our attention at friendships with those of the opposite sex. It's true that God wants us to have friends. There are advantages to godly fellowship and encouragement (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). However, friendships of the opposite sex should come with some pretty important restrictions. Please take a moment and read this article from Focus on the Family as it speaks to the “Billy Graham Rule”. We would like for you to pay special attention to the real-world guidelines that are applicable to each and every marriage.
