Victory Lap

We all love having encouragers in our lives. Encouragement may come in the form of a smile, helping someone back to their feet, or in the form of love manifested in words. Sometimes words can be strong, cut deep, or motivate. But words in the form of encouragement develop Godly fruit.

Psalms 16:24
Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

We can sing encouragement, we can speak it, and we can write it.

A few days ago I received the following in a text message from a dear friend. It was so refreshing that I want to share this with you all this week.

“Another day closer to the victory lap let's put on our dancing shoes and join the celebration for we are children of the resurrection soon to welcome our king when his kingdom comes on earth as it is it heaven always and forever. I pray a special day for you of deep peace and joy and to remember because you are here it is special.
