Accurate Directions
On more than one occasion in the last six years I have tried to give directions to people who are wanting to come to our house. And they often will tell me they don't need directions since they have GPS (global positioning system). I tell them to be sure and call me when they get lost. My experience is that some of the various brands of GPS have got it wrong and you can never find our house following their directions.
Christians have a responsibility to give accurate directions for getting to heaven. Unfortunately, some people think they know the way but for whatever reasons they have the wrong information. We don't need to give religious directions such as good works, being good enough or joining some denomination. Rather we need to share the only true GPS which is God's word. That word says, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6) And, "For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." (Gal. 3:26-27)
