Mind Control

I have always thoroughly enjoyed the Star Trek programs, particularly, "The Next Generation". There were always some very strange creatures on the programs and there was amazing imagination on the part of the writers. I always enjoyed the programs where one of the cast members was controlled by an outside of body source or their brains would be implanted with a chip that allowed the "bad guy" governments to control their minds and actions. You spent the whole program wondering if the mind control would be discovered and the Enterprise be saved.
   
Mind control is not just in science fiction stories. Mind control through television has managed to destroy our country and Christianity. Satan has used it to control the way people think and how they act.
   
If we focus on sexuality enough it will control our behavior. If we focus on our fears we will be controlled by anxiety and worry. if we listen enough to the "father of lies", Satan, he will soon control our actions. "For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit." (Rom. 8:5) When our minds are controlled by the Spirit we will find "life and peace". (Rom. 8:6)
